Travel time claimed in an account of expenses will only be allowed by the Auditor if the time claimed is reasonable and the journey in question was necessary for the proper performance of the solicitor’s duties. On that basis, the Auditor considers that it is reasonable and appropriate that additional fees awarded by the Court or the Auditor should apply to recoverable travel time. 7 March 2018
